Would you have the same reaction if they'd said 3 days? Over 600K homes lost power… 2 people died. It is/was a winter storm. You can't expect them to investigate and fix all that within a day or 2.

HEAR ME MY PEOPLE!!!!!!!! I travel around puget sound a crap ton for work. Every city I was in was hit or miss. I drove through Renton this morning and like every 3 or 4 stop lights was working but the rest were down. It was like that in most of the towns I was in. One of my coworkers won’t get power till Saturday and another won’t until at least Sunday. There’s only so many lineman and we got hit hard. They’ll get to it quick as they can.

That’s not horrible. We’ve had storms before where it took a week or more.

I think everywhere is saying by Saturday night. But I also don’t remember over 500k losing power during winter snow storms, so that is most likely the cause of the delay.

My elderly parents went 7-9 days without power in freezing Michigan winter a couple years ago. It was a bad ice storm. They live in a heavily populated area. No heat, freezing pipes. Unfortunately when the scale is wide it takes time.
