If I did the math right you can get a R5mkii and RF 100-500 or get a Nikon z8 with a 180-600 and have $1000 cash left over Or you can get a Sony A1 Mkii. While I obviously haven't used the A1 I don't see anything in reviews or spec sheet that would make me want to get it over a Z8 or R5mkii. Especially nothing that'd make me pay several thousand more dollars for it.
