I’m 38. Graduated and landed my first ‘real’ job at 21. At 22, I got fired. (Story for another day.) Got a job in MarCom at 23. Was laid off in a reorganization at 27. Took the severance pay and traveled for a year. By 28, I was broke. Got another job in MarCom. Took a sabbatical at 33. Ended up in the Philippines. Became a dive instructor. Fell in love. Decided to stay in the Philippines. Started my own business at 35. My story has been far from linear, but I wouldn't change a thing.
