We have free breakfast and lunch in our county of Alabama too! It’s a blessing for our kids 💗

So sad that a so called wealthy nation has so many starving kids. This doesn’t happen in Australia ( maybe a very small portion) mums send lunch with them in the morning, we don’t have cafeterias in Australian government schools but will have a canteen to purchase food if required.

Same in Oregon too.

And in Texas. The bad part is when summer vacation is in full swing-usually they will run free lunch in the park thru June.

I know right. My boys and I went to summer school just to get the free breakfast, lunch, and credits. What a bargain. San Diego, 1972 - 75.

I’m grateful to live in NY where free breakfast and lunch for all!! In the summer any child can come to school for free breakfast and lunch! I❤️New York!!!!

Every school should do this.
