We’ve known each other 20 years but don’t interact much and only met in person a couple of times. Should I delete them? There seems to be some nostalgic sadness on my part but I’m not sure what for.

I deleted Facebook a couple of years ago because of Zuckerberg’s foot dragging to remove the disinformation that was proliferating. I kept Instagram because I had a couple of very close friends but have resisted Threads (another Zuckerberg platform) until a Twitter friend persuaded me. I like Blue Sky better. So, all that is a convoluted way to ditch your “friend” by changing platforms.🤗

I am not on Facebook but did the same on all the other platforms I am on, as well as blocking and deleting their phone numbers from my phone. Like you I am done having anyone in my circle who would support anyone who acts, speaks and does anything like Trump or his supporters.
