When we travel, one of our favorite rituals is visiting a Starbucks in each city we explore. Some might jokingly call it “social climbing goals,” but for us, it’s a fun way to experience a familiar brand in different places. We stick to our go-to order: a grande caramel macchiato. Interestingly, as Filipinos, we’ve often perceived Starbucks drinks as pricey luxuries back home. However, it’s eye-opening to realize that its cost is actually much lower compared to what it costs in other countries.
