It’s not “Nazi” to want to keep representations of culture in films. That’s like saying a movie about Japanese culture written by a white person isn’t authentic because it isn’t perfectly accurate. In that scenario, would it be representative of supporting the axis powers to say that that Japanese movie should feature Japanese or at least Japanese-looking actors?

Because as we all know, animated dragons are part of Nordic culture..

So, if I wanted to make a movie about an African tribe with the chieftains daughter being a white chick, you’re saying no one is going to have anything to say about it? HTTYD is a Nordic themed story. I shouldn’t have to tell you, the Nordic people, they as white as you can get. It’s not about some BS Nazi ethnic cleansing. It’s about Hollywood trying to be diverse when the story is not diverse. Was there a bunch of Asian people at the time of Aladdin? A bunch of Europeans in Mulan? No
