Bands, quit printing your merch on those trash Guildan tees. I get that they’re cheap but literally nobody is shaped like SpongeBob. Fans deserve better 🤷🏽♂️

They'd (band and fan) be better off having shirts printed on thrift store tees. Same-if-not-less cost, better feel/look.

I know I'm in the minority, but I love me a Gildan heavy cotton.

Also sell band shirts in XS because I don't want to drown in a t-shirt! Some of us are skinny!

As a screen printer and person in bands, I can't agree more. Gildan has gotten MUCH worse over the last couple years. I'm trying to phase them out entirely except for customers who request that brand. Fit, QC, everything is inferior to almost any other brand. If you're looking for a value priced shirt, tultex is a better choice. Next level is a great mid range t. Bella canvas is fine, but not a step up from NL and often more expensive. Avoid Bella sweatshirts. Independent trading for sweats.

While I agree on the heavy cotton model not being exactly “comfy”, they do seem to last forever lol The Gildan soft style are a decent shirt and a nice compromise and what we’ve switched over to.

Nah. Metal tees used to be oversized heavy ass black shirts that weighed two pounds. Now shirts are like 2 oz. wet and the sleeves end two inches higher than they should. Screw that.

I bought an @alkaline_trio shirt about a year ago at their show in NJ because the design was great. Got home and realised it fits and feels like cardboard. $40 for trash.
