Yesterday after I called my male boss “gurl” for the 4782nd time, I felt I needed to explain my vocabulary choices: Gurl and Bruh are gender neutral terms. Gurl indicates unfortunate agreement in preparation to expand on shared frustration. Bruh indicates exasperated disagreement that precedes telling someone exactly what is wrong with their actions or previous statement. Agree or disagree and why? 🙃
