We treated ourselves to it for the first time this year for a 12-hour flight and it was worth every euro. However, in my opinion it is only worth it on very long flights. I can easily stay in economy for 6 hours.

Can relate. No more flying economy from Europe to the US (11-13 hours), but also never paid in full for business, only credit card miles or miles upgrades :)

I only fly First, preferably with Emirates. On work trips that I do every 5-6 weeks it can involve 12+ countries. I don’t always have time to stay overnight. With Emirates I can sleep and eat well, and take a hot shower onboard before arriving. I work hard, and given the amount of travel I do, First is one luxury I give myself. It would be difficult to fly any other way now

Collect frequent flyer points on your credit card.

Most people who fly business class either use some sort of points to make it affordable, is rich enough to pay for it, or it is written off as a business expense, hence the name business class.

If you need to ask questions 1 and 3, you shouldn't fly Biz class.

We only splurge for business on long haul overnight flights. If it’s under 5 hours or flying during the day, I can’t justify the expense. Enjoy!
