Omg I know 😭 fresh out of a c-section and I thought everything was done with, just to have them do it so many times. Like i get why they do it but holy fuck is it awful 😭

After delivery of the placenta it is necessary to palpate the uterus to make sure it is firmly clamping down on its own. If it is not, firm massage is required to prevent post partum hemorrhage.

Hi nurse here who has also had a baby, they do that to make sure your uterus is contracting properly because of it isn't you are at risk of bleeding out. But it is super uncomfortable

Get you a good midwife and for some people a doula(I didn’t feel I needed one) and you won’t have this problems! My first child was a c section and I was 19, in a foreign country, no family or any support so I went with whatever I was told but my second I fought for myself and my child and finally found a good midwife that would do a VBAC! She was ahhhhhhhhhmazing! She respected all my wishes(there were plenty) I pushed baby girl out about 5 or 6 times and I didn’t need stitches!
