When you give your unsolicited opinion, in German you give your "mustard" (as if the topic in question were a bratwurst), in French your "grain of salt" (the discussion was too bland without your opinion) and in English your "two cents" (you didn't really want to contribute much, but at least you're chipping in). In Spanish, however, you'll be asked: "Who gave you a candle at the funeral? Languages are fun!
