What an ugly attitude. Canada has an incredibly difficult cost of living and housing market crisis, one of the worst in the world. If you're fortunate enough to still have a job which pays the bills and puts food on the table when record numbers of Canadians are being forced to rely on food banks, you hold onto that while you build up your business, especially when you have a family to provide for.
