My old travel/adventure partner texted me out of the blue last night to see how I was doing post-election. It has been 6 months since our last interaction, when she let me know a mutual friend had passed away. We caught each other up on our lives. I still miss her. Eighteen months after parting. I didn’t think it would be proper to mention that. It is beyond time to move on.
