I called my nephew for his birthday.. in that phone call I talked to his sister. I asked her where she was working she said Target but she’s looking for a new job.. I said aw ok we’ll do they pay you well? She said it’s only $15 an hour.. FORTY DOLLARS?! $15 an hour at 18? Girl you better STAY! 😭

IF she’s working full time that’s like 1k every two weeks? it’s 2024 rent alone in most places is 1k by itself at the LEAST. 😬 Not to mention car payments and other expenses. Back in the 2000s it was a good wage but not anymore.

I’ve already put down ~$400 in credit and no clue how I’m gonna pay it off🤷🏻‍♀️plus moving jobs every year or two looks better than being complacent or”loyal” to one company- it shows you know your worth, you have goals, and will leave if not treated as you should be.
