Nice idea, if a bit unrealistic. If it’s going to be “cheap” then would be hard to keep it occupied with only touring musicians. Hotels have a lot of overhead costs. It has to make economic sense for someone to invest in a business like this.

KOA campgrounds have cabins that are usually pretty affordable! Granted you have to bring your own bedding (or rent it from them)but nothing a cheap sleeping bag can’t fix. Communal bathrooms too so no waiting to get in and shower if your band mate is taking their sweet time in there. Plus the cabins can sleep 6 since they have bunk beds with queens on the bottom. I just stayed in one and with the pet fee it was $65 a night and way nicer than most hotels. And they have a rewards program!

I have to say, having toured in the US recently and comparing it to my touring experiences in the UK and here in Australia, I was actually pleasantly surprised by those hotel chains you mentioned.
