I was recently in conversation with someone who thought it was stupid for voters to give up in the face of gerrymandering and voter supression. But when you get bills like this, that strip power from recently elected Democrats, and you don’t know how much of it will be upheld by a manipulated court system, it feels like your votes don’t even count. I can’t blame someone for not even bothering.
