If Taylor Swift had released Tortured Poets Department as an unknown artist I don't think it'd have done anywhere near the numbers it has. She's being carried hard by her legacy atm.

21 小時內	Mrs. Hembree gretchenhembree	TTPD is probably not an album that would pull in someone who does not appreciate Taylor's artwork of storytelling. Her legacy IS her storytelling. Her ability to pull together albums with song references(Florida x No Body No Crime for example, just feel like sister songs to me) She is always carried by her legacy. Which is what gives her such loyal fans.
