I built my house for $85k in '87 & now its worth about $400k. So you're telling me it was a bad idea to buy a house? So yah folks don't buy a house it's a bad idea. To be honest buying a Condo or whatever is a really bad investment. Buy a house & you'll have your house on your land, now that is a good investment. People want a house by itself, not an apartment in most cases. Condo; Buy an apartment+pay a mortgage=pay Condo fees. You're paying rent for an apartment & a mortgage for an apartment.
