I am officially on Thanksgiving Break (5th gr self-contained classroom teacher) & I’m so thankful because f- Oct being the hard month. Week 1 in Nov we had an actual lockdown where I saw SWAT officers in full gear through my blinds. Week 2- fire alarm went off during dismissal & evacuate almost 600 kids who were all in one location. Week 3- can’t say but trust me, doozy and has personal implications. So going to enjoy not being at work for a week and know that Winter Break is 3 weeks after this
