First off, it’s fiction! If we writers owed you morality and trigger free stories, you’d never get interesting books or films. Watch a documentary if you want real life. That said, I do think we need to warn readers/viewers about what’s inside so they can make solid reading/viewing choices. Now more than ever that’s happening -before the Internet buzz about potentially triggering work didn’t get out as fast.
