Last night I went to my first Friendsgiving, mind you it was with 2 women that I have known for 2 months and about 8 strangers. We all met through a group on FB. Anyhoo…. We all wore fall colors so we would know who was apart of our Friendsgiving (with strangers) lol. That still cracks me up by the way! There was so much life experience at this table I was amazed. Tech, Human Resoucres, Veterinarian, Law, Law Enforcement, Fitness, Model, Education, Therapist, etc. 👇🏽

A lot of women hadn’t been outside in a long time due to life, kids, marriage, work, school or they just don’t have any friends. Black women are creating a community for themselves via social media. We all stepped out on faith and made it happen. Everyone received gift bags with treats, alcohol, affirmation cards, etc. blackwomen #blackthreads #girlsnight womensupportwomen
