As a sustaining local NPR station member this is a hard pass. Hopefully you will ask him some real questions and I’ll listen on demand if you do. I’m already reevaluating my membership and likely this will be a continuing factor. Used to have so much respect for NPR for many years.

I hope you’re tough on him. People shouldn’t be able to buy their way into a seat of power. He’s done some dubious things to put people who are cleary anti-American and anti-democracy in positions of power.

I won’t be listening, but hope to hear about how you asked him about yearly visits to the Harlan Crow “camp” conferences. etc. along those lines. I don’t want to hear anything else about this misogynistic megalomaniac and his plans to reshape society.

Steve, I know you are a good journalist. I hope you pressed Leo on the legitimacy crisis of the court, and how he has done more than any other individual to delegitimize the court’s authority by aiding and abetting corruption among the Justices. We need you now more than ever to frame these stories and resist normalizing abnormal, destructive behavior.
