Maybe a woman wears a style cause it makes her life a little easier, gives her comfort or she likes changing her hair a lot. Yes, there is also a survival aspect to it because we live in a world that constantly tells us that our presentation has a direct impact on our livelihood. All of this!! I am natural currently, but wearing my hair in braids. I did the big chop 4 years ago…not for the weak. I have “a nice grade of hair” but baby, it is thicker than the lining of Ugg boots.
