Please don't take my lack of praise for Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba these past few days as a lack of passion. I've focused primarily on Glinda because of how much my opinion has changed and developed since the announcement. I genuinely thought we as a Global Society were already clear on Cynthia Erivo being THE GREATEST VOCALIST OF OUR GENERATION, a star in her own right, literally the reason I was sat sobbing in a theatre *last* year... I... I didn't realize you all needed reminding?????
