As an outsider, no that’s just unfair. Regardless of sex, if someone wants to start dating ( as long as it’s consensual and legal) then let them. It’s better for ur son to experience the dating scene now instead of later, even it’s just a year difference, a year of experience is better than still having no experience later; trust me I’m a guy whose 23 and still never officially dated once
