Oh well to be fair it was at my grandmas house, and we haven’t had much a tradition since she’s gotten too old to cook, so it’s been a bit of a potluck in recent years.

My son married a lovely US girl and we have spent quite a few Christmas’s with them now. Fantastic family we are all close. But certainly an eye opener the variety of meals we have in Christmas Day ! One year we took control and did the whole nine yards traditional British Christmas dinner. Pigs in blankets, mince pies, crackers, stuffing, turkey, roast potatoes etc ,They had neighbours popping in to take photos ! They couldn’t believe the vast majority of families in the uk can assemble this.
