We know it's a no-no to tag authors in negative reviews, but we don't often talk about authors getting tagged in reviews that readers think are positive but are sneakily hurtful. One of the most common examples I see is positive reviews that start with "Surprisingly, this was amazing!!" or "I went in with low expectations, but..." Those are backhanded compliments. Telling someone you expected their work to be shit is rude AF.
