Christmas is always a difficult time of year, especially as I’ve gotten older. Broken family and trauma around this time of year doesn’t help. When I say trauma I mean something bad always happens in the days leading up to or after Christmas. I cycle through previous events whilst anxiously anticipating the next. There wasn’t a point to this except for to vent.
