It’s a terrible film that is an absolute blast.

It’s awful. Look, in many movies you have to suspend your disbelief in order for the plot to happen, like travelling faster than the speed of light. That’s OK. But DH2 has just so many stupid plot holes that it’s impossible to get past it. And these aren’t things that HAD to happen, this is just lazy writing. “The comms are down at this one airport, oh no, we’re screwed.” There are THOUSANDS of other radios nearby to talk to ALL the planes, like other airports or even other planes.
