Some of you are committed to the idea that Black people have been unfairly advantaged. But in aggregate, the data does not support this claim. Black people are 13% of the U.S. population but hold less than 2% of top jobs in corporate America. And since so many like to bring up sports, Black men are 53% of NFL players but hold 20% of head coaching jobs. White men = the ONLY group in this country whose power outsizes their presence. 1/2

If (taking your numbers and not testing them) only 13% of the US are black but 53% of NFL players are- that would mean that black people are over represented by a factor of 4 in one of the highest paying jobs in the world

Asian people in this country rank above white people on just about every metric that people use as a talking point to convince white people that they should hate themselves- but we’re not allowed to talk about that, because that would be racist. Despite years of oppressing African-American’s growth, and rights “still I rise!”, Maya Angelou, USA POET, singer, memoirist, civil rights activist, (not mentioned, Autobiography, Film Maker and other pubs.). The test of time has proven who’s inferior to whom; that question was never a concern for the once enslaved African-Americans.
