So much planning and intentionality goes into a “nice simple service.”

I'm a worship pastor and I know what you mean. Somebody once told me that she was going to "take a few piano lessons" so she could do what I do. I took it as a compliment. The years I'd invested in piano lessons, practicing, and gaining church music experience brought me to the place where I am able to make it look easy. And that puts the congregation at ease so they can worship without distraction. Mission accomplished. ✅
