Today, it was reported that Louisiana's Department of Health verbally directed its 6,500 employees to cease all promotion of COVID-19, flu, and mpox vaccines - even as the state faces the nation's highest flu rates. Staff cannot post clinic signs, organize health events, or even answer basic questions about vaccine availability.

I still don’t see the profit in this. I’m convinced money has to be behind it, but I can’t figure out how.

Evaluation of the short and long term effects of vaccines is the correct public charge. I’m not sure why any scientist would oppose it. The problem is that many people have lost faith in the leaders of public health being dishonest, political and a bit dictatorial. I support the use of vaccines and use most that are relevant to me at my age. My wife had serious reactions to the early COVID vaccines. She still gets the relevant vaccines but will not get COVID again. I have natural immunity.
