Name a useless death in movie! Killing Elizabeth Shaw off screen in Alien Covenant was a massive missed opportunity that would’ve allowed David 1 to grow, explore deeper questions about creation, the Engineers, & Shaw’s faith. Instead, they completely threw away her potential and skipped over what could’ve been great continuity for the franchise. It was such a disservice to both her, and the fans. I get it, I understand the writers followed Ridley’s vision, but I am still mad about it.
