My dad was a high school teacher and he always told me to go straight to the superintendent. Don’t go to the teacher or principal, go straight to the top. There were a couple of instances that I did just talk to the teacher, and she was amazing.

Heck, the janitor & wife comes to special events at my son's home. When the train starts going off the track, I prevent the derailment, I don't wait for a catastrophe
