I read (with my eyeballs, in the traditional sense) 46 books this year. I also “read” 72 books via audiobook. (I drive a lot). While I strongly feel listening is equal to reading, I wish there was a better word? “Consumed” seems… weird.

19 小時內	Gary Wilson gstwilson	I have a similar problem, because while I read in both senses, only one of those requires me to sit and focus completely. I take in the text better through listening, but I'm also way more prone to multitasking and distraction. I guess it's all about perspective/your reading goals. If I'm wanting to read more books, it's all reading. If I'm wanting to practice reading (after brain/cognitive dysfunction) reading means text on page. If I really want to practice, it means read aloud.
