Everything including getting caught was calculated. He could have just killed the guy and gone to jail, but he wanted to make a statement otherwise no change will happen.

Not...entirely. He allowed himself to be recorded several times without a mask. He threw away a water bottle with his DNA and a fingerprint on it. He kept his gun, fake id's, and a manifesto on him. Don't get me wrong, I'm 100% on Team Luigi. I love this guy, and if I were 20 years younger and single, I'd probably be sending him stalkery love letters in prison. But he made a few mistakes, which is unfortunate, because there are more insurance CEOs out there.
