It's so true what people say about birthdays. You get to define what enjoying your birthday looks like. Last year I took myself out on a solo date and it was a really great day for me. This year I was at home, surrounded by family. It looked mundane because nothing out of the ordinary happened, but it was still a great day for me, especially with my favourite weather.
