An utterly DISGRACEFUL response from David Lammy. No backbone when it come to supporting Brits. You're supposed to be firmly advocating for his release and at least highlighting the fact that this was a terrible mistake. Of course we ought to respect the laws of other countries, but why on earth would you make THAT the salient point when we need to get this boy home? It's as if you're accepting his sentence which is probably why the family say they don't feel supported. Shame on you!
