So on Thursday last week I complained to @virginmedia that I was trans and despite changing my name on my account, their marketing emails were still using my deadname. And I explained in the complaint what my official name was and what my dead name was so they could stop using it. And their reply, apologising for their mistake, was addressed to my dead name, and used my dead name throughout. It’s extraordinary.
You literally couldn’t make it up.
