Not correct. I use Expedia and at check in I provide my honors number. Simple.

You have to be so careful with this. I work at a hotel and people say they googled the number and called us directly all the time but it’s been booked through a third party. Our “central” reservations department is also in a different country and we get in trouble frequently because they obviously don’t work with us and have never been to our hotel, but they allegedly promise things/amenities that we don’t even have and they talk as if they are AT the hotel. It’s super frustrating.

You reserved a whole hotel? Did you sponsor a conference/convention? [Or did you just erroneously leave off the word "stay" or "room"? (We all make errors. 🤷🏼‍♀️)] Truly, I'm not trying to be facetious, but a number of people on here hv accused others of not reading the whole post &/or of poor reading comprehension; I want to ensure I understand the actual problem. Though it's been a yr or 2, I've booked rms at Hiltons through 3rd-party sites as well as Hilton.com, but I've always rcvd points. 🧵 1/2
