Approximately ten minutes ago, and for the first time in my life, I pronounced The Silmarillion, correctly. A solstice miracle. Two minutes ago, I told Joe, “I’m going to post on Facebook about saying The Silmarillion correctly.” And he looked SO SAD. I’m sorry, but I can’t be expected to get it right TWICE in one night. It’s a lot! If you need me, I’ll be looking up how to say “Happy Solstice” in Elvish. Don’t ask which dialect.
