I admire George Washington, who used to accompany his wife Martha to the Episcopal church where she took communion but he didn't. One day the minister chided him for not taking communion, saying it set a bad example for the other congregants. Washington was apologetic and said he would never do it again. Thereafter, on the Sundays when communion was scheduled, he simply didn't attend church.
