Animal agriculture is a major culprit when it comes to zoonotic diseases. This has been going on for ages, ever since we started domesticating animals in large herds. It’s not a question of IF the next pandemic will happen, but WHEN. I been tracking these recent bird flu cases since early 2024 when it was just in cows. So if it turns into a pandemic, I won't he surprised. Humans repeat the same patterns, refusing to address the root cause and actually learn from the past.
