It has a free 3 hour trial atm. Form your own opinion as your opinion is ultimately what matters not those on here. I personally liked it and have 4 playthroughs and have played the original games when they first came out. A lot of people have started playing the old games again and have found sooo much dialogue and foreshadowing that tie directly to DAV so it does follow original lore. Like every game out there not everyone is going to like it as like RL each person likes different things.
