The Haitian revolution was great and Haiti should always be celebrated for that. However Jamaica has had a greater influence on the WORLD. Music, Sports, Culture, Fashion, Religion are all areas that Jamaica’s influence outweighs that of Haiti globally. Also if there wasn’t an Haitian Revolution there would have been a revolution elsewhere. Before the Haitian revolution; plantations were being burnt in Jamaica and many other territories. Jamaicans were also involved in fighting in Haiti.
