I think it depends on the age of one’s child because if both the father and the child are adults basically grown, then it should work both ways & as a child the child should also be taught to reach out sometimes to their dad, not just for when they want something

It’s a two way street like it or not. You’re making this comment with no other context. My kid NEEDS to call me sometimes. Especially after they a little older. If they can call their little friends all day, you have time to call me as the parent. I’m calling my kid but my kid gotta call me. And NO I don’t have custody of my child so I know! unless you’re on this end you can’t possibly understand. Very toxic point of view
