Before the Internet

I'm 84 and I don't know when that was. The most destructive war in history was already underway when I was born and lasted until I was five. The Korean war started soon after and I went to schools where we were given steel dog tags and taught to crouch under our desks during an atomic attack. But the middle class was rich during the 1950's and 60s. My working class family had two cars. Then there was Vietnam. But life is what you make of it. I've been mostly happy, and still have good friends.
