I’ve never gotten ANY $, just free credit monitoring for a year. And if I had to guess, there’s investment by the leakers into those companies or kickbacks or something because now they’re not the standard companies we all know, but new ones. Very sketchy. And yeah, as usual, no effective policing to make sure companies are protecting our data or even reasonable fines when they don’t.
