True, but I refuse to wait till I'm in my 60's to use it. Especially when the life expectency of Americans continues to go down. Can we speed this up abit please?

Then double up the savings. Put that into an IRA. And then use the doubled amount and save IRA for actual expenses. If you don’t have enough, find a way to make an extra $20 a day.

If I had known about Roth Ira, I would have been working extra, trying to put in even 20 a week. Now I'm putting in 100 a week. I want those tax-free withdrawals when I'm retired and my social security and medicaid. Duh.

Your impatience will never get you far. You can contribute 7k a year in a roth ira AND enjoy the present

That’s why you invest 7k in roth IRA, and another 15-30k in other areas which will be taxed, but can be used to retire at 40 until 20 years later when your ROTH is penalty free. Many also do not know that you can withdraw tax free up to the amount contributed.

Huh? It’s literally there for retirement. AFTER YOU RETIRE. What does this money have to literally do with the money outside of what you’re contributing to retirement?

You can pull out what you have put into it. But, you cannot pull out more than you have put into it before age 59-1/2. This doesn’t mean this is your only retirement. Just a great tax free way to grow money. You can also have non retirement investments, you’ll just be taxed on the growth yearly.
